Shortlisted for the 2025 Client Impact Award

I’m absolutely delighted to share that I’ve been shortlisted for the Client Impact Award at this year’s 6 Figure Bookkeepers’ Awards. This category means a great deal to me because it recognises something at the heart of my practice: the real, human difference that good bookkeeping can make.

So many of the clients who come to me are overwhelmed, behind, or quietly frightened about their finances. Over the past year I’ve rebuilt VAT records, recovered overpayments, prevented penalties, untangled complex software errors and helped people get back on track when they couldn’t see a way forward.

But the impact isn’t just in the numbers - it’s in the moments where someone says they finally understand their finances, or that they feel calm for the first time in months, or that they’ve got their evenings back with their family.

I’m proud of the technical work I’ve done this year — whether that was fixing a Clio-to-Xero integration fault, reopening supplier accounts so a client could trade again, or strengthening Xero and Apron systems to simplify the admin burden.

What clients tell me matters most is the clarity, the steadiness, and the sense of having someone in their corner.

That’s the real impact.

Being recognised in this category sits alongside a year where I’ve grown as a business owner too. I’ve stepped more fully into the CEO role, strengthened my systems, set clearer boundaries and built a practice rooted in ethics and sustainability. I genuinely care about the success of all of my clients and will do everything I can to champion them.
